First of all thank you for visiting our website. To make your shopping experience as comfortable as possible we have some terms and conditions that apply to any order/purchase on www.rijpclothing.com. These are the direct-to-consumer terms & conditions of RIJP.

We will make sure that these Conditions are easily accessible before, during or after ordering. You are able to read, reread the then applicable version of the Conditions on our website.

RIJP is a menswear brand from the Netherlands. We sell our collection on our webshop www.rijpclothing.com. Currently there is no physical RIJP store but we do have a physical point of sale, Lutz B.V. located in Vinkeveen.

RIJP is located at Herenweg 45, 3645DE Vinkenveen, Netherlands. We are registered at the Chamber of Commerce in Amsterdam, Chamber of Commerce registration No. 80694780, VAT No. NL861765187B01.

Price & Payment

The prices stated on the RIJP web shop are mentioned in Euros (€). The prices includes value added taxes (currently 21%). RIJP reserves the right to adjust pricing without further notice.

We accept payment by using one of the payment methods available in the web shop of RIJP. We are not responsible for any online handling fee or costs that your card issuer or bank account may charge.

RIJP remains the full owner of the goods until the full purchase price is paid by the customer.

For purchases outside the European Union the customer is responsible for any customs charges that might be applicable. It’s the customers responsibility to check if the ordered articles can be exported and imported to the country in question and what the costs will be, before placing an order.

Shipping

Any shipping costs will be visible during the checkout process, the shipping costs are stated below the pricing in the checkout. RIJP aims to process and have your order delivered as good and fast as possible. We take great care to ensure that the products are shipped accurately. If you unexpectedly receive incomplete or damaged products, please let us know within 48 hours after receiving the products.

Orders are shipped to the delivery address provided by the customer. To avoid incorrect delivery of any orders, please make sure you provide us with correct information and contact details. We keep your information safe and process personal data in accordance with our privacy policy. If the customer provides the wrong shipping address, the costs for the lost product(s) are for the customer’s account.

Rights of return

If you’re not fully satisfied after receiving your order, you can return the order/ product(s) within 14 days. We also offer the option to exchange, all exchanges are based on stock availability.

You’re able to try our product(s) to be sure about your purchase, like you would normally do at a physical store. We ask you to take reasonable care of the goods while they are in your possession.

When you would like to return any product/order, make sure the product(s) are unworn, unwashed and in original conditions including the original hangtag. RIJP reserves the right to refuse all returns that does not meet these requirements.

Within the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany we offer free returns. For all other countries the returns are on behalf of the customer. The customer is responsible for any customs charges that might be applicable. It’s the customers responsibility to check the return charges from their country.

By returning your entire order RIJP will refund the paid amount, including shipping costs (no return costs), within 5 working days after receiving the returned product(s). In case of a partial return, we only refund the costs of the returned product. We will refund with the same payment method as used for the original payment.

Product quality

RIJP aims to display products on the website as fully and accurately as possible. It can happen that a product is misprized, described incorrectly or inaccurately. Does the product appear to be different than expected? Please let us know! If a misunderstanding occurs you are able to return the item according to our return policy.

The products RIJP offers are naturally subject to wear. The lifespan of a product partially depends on the material of the product, the intensity of use and the level of care. Our products are made from the highest quality materials as listed in our webshop. RIJP stands for quality by normal use. For optimum lifespan and quality, it is however important to follow the washing instructions and try to expose dark colors as less as possible to the sun. If there is something wrong with your product, please do not hesitate to contact us and inform us about your complaint.

An agreement arising from an misstate which contains an obvious mistake and/or error, such as an unusually low price, is not binding upon RIJP. We reserves the right to change product information at any time without prior notice.

Intellectual property and trademark protection

RIJP owns all intellectual property rights related to the brand. All content presented to you on this site or on social media, including text, graphics, logos and photography, is protected by copyrights, trademarks, service marks or other proprietary rights and laws and is exclusive property of RIJP. Nothing in these terms of use grants you any right to use any trademark, service mark, logo and/or the name of RIJP.

Personal information of our customers

Please make sure that the data you give us, e-mail address, address and bank account number are complete, accurate and current.

RIJP guarantees that all your data will be handled with the most care and will not be shared, sold or otherwise made available to third parties. RIJP only processes and records your data in their database.

In addition, your e-mail address will be used to notify you of certain products and services that may be attractive for you, unless you have not authorized. Please see our Privacy Policy for more details.

Changes

If we make any changes in the terms or conditions it will be published on the website. We advise you to check these conditions when you’re ordering with us.

Applicable law

Dutch law, regardless of the country where the order is placed, governs these General Conditions. Any disputes will be submitted to the competent court in Amsterdam. These general conditions can always be adjusted by RIJP.
